I am Jochemus and it’s an honour to have you here.

I am driven to seeking fulfillment in the smaller things in life and dreaming big with my partner-in-shine, Carmia. I am an Educator, actor, environmental advocate, photographer and creative but what I’m really all about it inspiring people to awaken their curiosity about learning new things.

The first time I set foot outside of South Africa was in January 2015 when I left my teaching job behind and packed my life into a 20kg suitcase to explore what the world has to offer. I never imagined that by being teacher in South Korea I would actually become the learner!

Travel has ultimately taught me that life is too short and every day is an opportunity to make the most of it! I hope this blog will inspire you to actively pursue the smaller things in life.
